He wrote many books on various topics, such as tafsir (Quranic exegesis), hadith (Prophetic traditions), fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), tasawwuf (Sufism), and kalam (Islamic theology). He died in 1917 in Istanbul, Turkey.
